Riding bicycle in the Forest Park is really
a comfortable tour. The breeze is sawing your face when you ride a bike in the
forest. You can enjoy not the phytoncide under the forest but the symphony
which is composed by birds. Come here and take your rest time.
Getting There:

Take the Taitung City Bus or
the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle East Coast Line and get off at Forest.

You can also borrow the hotel’s
bike to go there.
台東森林公園舊稱「黑森林」，因防風而種植木麻黃，遠看林相漆黑一片而得名，因位於臺東市郊交通方便，故將黑森林與其周圍整治而成的三座湖泊納入臺東山海鐵馬道的範圍，取名為「臺東森林公園」。公園內設有自行車道，遊客可以騎著自行車繞遍整座森林，看遍園內三座湖泊。森林公園是台東市民運動休閒的好去處。
臺東森林公園約位於臺東山海鐵馬道順時針方向13至19公里處，從防汛道路進入並與臺東海濱公園接壤，可沿防汛道路前行或轉進森林公園內，鐵馬道沿途經過防風林與三座湖泊，可以飽覽自然生態與美麗風景，十分值得前往。
有許多的活動都會在活水湖舉辦，端午划龍舟及鐵人三項等等，都是許多重要大型活動的舉辦場所。
