The park reuses the assets of sugar
industry, including installation art of iron carvings, wood carving workshops,
and indigenous handicraft workshops. Taitung Sugar Factory is blends of
artistic atmosphere and cultural characteristics.

1. Take the DingDong Bus, Taitung City Bus
Express Line, or Taiwan Toutist Shuttle East Coast Line. Get off at the Taitung Sugar Factory Culture Park
臺東糖廠的興衰見證臺東開拓發展的歷史，從日治時代的製糖株式會社到現在的臺東糖廠、鳳梨工廠，因為環境變遷而於1996年停閉，並於2004年通過發展成為東糖原創工廠，除了增加許多地景公共裝置藝術，也邀請許多工藝坊進駐，成為臺東文創發展的重要據點之一。
台東糖廠位於市郊，是台東近期發展起來的新景點，裡面有一些文創商店及許多網路上很熱門的拍照景點，是個很棒的好去處。
在糖廠的對面也有糖廠的超市及冰店，一定要去嚐嚐看好吃的台糖冰品。
